GOD of miracles

Monday, March 23, 2015

This is an excerpt from the message on “GOD of miracles” shared by Pastor Léonard Gonitoua, President of P.A.S. HOPFAN, as a testimony on GOD’s power as experienced in 2003:

“The scene takes place in 2003. As Pastor of a ministry known as the Mission Réveil Spirituel (MRS–“Spiritual Awakening Mission”), I brought the members of MRS to Gbazabangui hill at Boy-Rabe, in Bangui, Central African Republic (CAR), for us to pray. Every Wednesday, we used to fast and pray at the hill.

(…) As we were walking down the hill, the Spirit of God said, “This path is not good. People should not use it.” Immediately after hearing God’s warning, I told the group, “let no one goes through here! Everyone should go through the other side!”

Unfortunately, one of the sisters did not listen and continued to follow me…

Soon after, the sister, who was 17 at the time, fell. Several members of the group who had seen her falling shouted, “Someone has fallen!” I heard them, but I was not paying attention thinking that it was not serious. But as they insisted, I stopped. I turned around and saw the sister on the ground, then walked back toward her.

The sister had fallen on a piece of wood (i.e. a cassava branch), which pierced straight through her stomach to her back by her buttocks…”

GOD bless you.

The Three Pillars of Salvation

Saturday, December 19, 2014

This is an excerpt from the message on “The Three Pillars of Salvation” delivered by Pastor Léonard Gonitoua, President of P.A.S. HOPFAN, as he was preaching in Bangui in 2014:

“My Brothers and Sisters, the Word of GOD does not lie. Regardless of what common men and wise men say, GOD watches over His Word to fulfill it. Regardless of what your Pastor or your Prophet says, regardless of what you say, the Word of GOD will never change. If you walk according to the Word of GOD, you have life because GOD is the Word.

Today we will analyze what I have called the ‘Three Pillars of Salvation.’

My Brother, ma Sister, you can have it all: wealth, fame, health, etc. But if you do not have eternal life, you have gained nothing.

Jesus Christ said that he who seeks and finds the Kingdom of Heaven, all his/her other needs will be given to him/her. What is of outmost importance to GOD is that you and I be saved.”

We encourage you to read GOD’s Word, the Bible, regularly so that you do not miss all the Blessings the Lord has in store for you, especially eternal Salvation in Jesus Christ, our Lord, Saviour and Master.

We invite you to read the sixth edition of The Daily Bread “The Three Pillars of Salvation” to hear more about this topic.

GOD bless you.

Shalom!

Our tongue should not be like a fire

Sunday, June 29, 2014

This is an excerpt from the message on “How to Have a Better Control of Our Tongue” delivered by Pastor Léonard Gonitoua, President of P.A.S. HOPFAN, as he was preaching in Bangui in 2014:

“Our tongue, what we say, is often the cause of many problems in our country, our homes, or our workplaces. What comes out of our mouth shocks our wives/husbands, our children, our families. Maybe today, many people hate us, but we protest saying that they do so for no reason. In fact, sometimes, those people hate us because of what we have said, because of the words that have come out of our mouths. Or sometimes, what we contemplate doing against those people can dig a hole or ditch that, in the end, could make us stumble.

My sisters and brothers, this is why the Word says that the tongue is like a fire. If you use a fire the wrong way, you can burn yourself. You can even burn your house. Today, many people are suffering because of their mouths. All their families, husbands/wives have moved away because of their mouths. Their family members are living in discouragement. Where those people are ruling, there is only terror, problems, worries and insomnia because of what comes out of their mouths.”

We encourage you to read GOD’s Word, the Bible, regularly so that you know how the Lord wants you to use your tongue to be a peacemaker, a wound healer, and many other blessings to those surrounding you.

We invite you to read the fifth edition of The Daily Bread “How to Have a Better Control of Our Tongue” to hear more about this topic.

GOD bless you.

GOD is the One who chooses those He wants to promote

Monday, January 20, 2014

This is an excerpt from the message on “GOD’s Choice” delivered by Pastor Léonard Gonitoua, President of P.A.S. HOPFAN, as he was preaching in Bangui in 2012:

“My brother, my sister, who can stand in your way today if GOD has decided to promote you? Today, people sometimes accuse others by saying for instance: ‘My supervisor does not want to present my file to those who can take action for a promotion; that person has done everything he/she could to prevent me from succeeding; I failed in my life because of my parents…’

My brother, my sister, promotion does not come from men or women, but from GOD. Nobody was there to declare good things about David to Samuel! David was in the bush. And GOD was there. The Lord sees all the good deeds that you are doing in the Spirit, and He will reward you back.”

We encourage you to hold on to Jesus and to continue to think, talk and act according to GOD’s Word, the Bible, so that you fulfill  GOD’s plans for your life and have life abundantly.

We invite you to read the fourth edition of The Daily Bread “GOD’s Choice” to hear more about this topic.

GOD bless you.

Shalom!

Central African Republic: Let us be true Peacemakers

The crisis in the Central African Republic (CAR) continues to be much written about. Our prayer is that the unbearable and gloomy stories about the country, which we hear every day, stops quickly and are replaced by stories of peace, love and construction for the rebuilding of a Central African State and society where peace, security, stability and prosperity are parts of the citizens’ daily lives.

In the meantime, we are providing here an update on the situation in CAR with our thoughts about the amalgam maintained by some regarding the Christian and Muslim religions. Pastor Léonard Gonitoua, the President of P.A.S.  HOPFAN is also sharing his thoughts about the situation and  giving his spiritual advice.

Pour un seul juste, Seigneur

Pour un seul juste, Seigneur,

Viens en nous changer nos cœurs.

Pour un seul juste, Papa,

Viens poser Ton Sparadrap.

Tu as entendu le juste chanter

Des louanges vers toi élever.

Pour un seul juste, Papa

Je sais que tu le feras.

Do good to GOD’s servants

Sunday, November 3, 2013

This is an excerpt from the message on Elisha and The Shunammite, which was delivered by Pastor Léonard Gonitoua in 2007:

“The Shunammite had a lot of wealth and asked Elisha to always stay and eat at her place whenever he was passing through the city. “Always”, and not “from time to time”. She even went as far as building a house for him! Unfortunately nowadays, Christians grow weary of doing good and neglect the servants of GOD.

When the Shunammite saw that her son was dead, she did not panic. On the contrary, she turned to Elisha, the one GOD had used to announce that she would have a son. And GOD glorified Himself by bringing her son back to life.

That woman recognized the value of Elisha and gave him the honor due to him. She built a house for him to give glory to GOD. She did not do it for herself, nor for her parents or her brothers and sisters. Again today, many are those Christians who have plans for themselves, but never for GOD…

Moreover, never did the Shunammite think about exploiting Elisha, which is not the case of some Christians who, instead of serving GOD, rather exploit men of GOD by asking them for money to solve this or that, or even false problems. People prefer to destroy rather than build.”

We encourage you to bless others, and you will be blessed by the Lord who sees your daily actions and is a Faithful GOD.

We invite you to read the third edition of The Daily Bread “Elisha and The Shunammite” to hear more about this topic.

GOD bless you.

Shalom.

Central African women must sound out the Scriptures

Wednesday, October 2, 2013

This key message was deliBible Institutevered to Central African women by Pastor Balezou in 2007 in Bangui, Central African Republic (CAR).

He said that “mothers and women in the Central African Republic (CAR) must understand that things are becoming tougher and tougher in this world, and that one needs more knowledge to get through.

Men must acknowledge women’s value and thank GOD for having given them mothers, spouses, daughters and sisters. Delivering CAR from all its problems will come from the women of that nation!

However, for this to happen, those women have to sound out the Scriptures to fight darkness and all the enemies of their progress. Indeed, GOD wants His sheep to see the light and to walk in the light.

GOD did not create us to suffer but to progress. Whether you are a man or a woman, you need the Bible, to meditate on it and to put it into practice.

When you have problems and that you emphasize the Word of GOD, the Devil goes away!”

Whether you are from CAR or from another country, this message is also for you because it is  based on the Bible.

GOD has created a special woman or a special man in you. Hold on to His Word, hold on to Jesus and you will have life in abundance.

We invite you to read the second edition of The Daily Bread “Sound Out The Scriptures” to hear more about this topic.

GOD bless you.

Salvation is accessible to everybody

Sunday, July 14, 2013

Brothers and Sisters, in the Book of Luke 16:19-21, the Bible teaches us that Salvation is accessible to everybody, and that everyone is free to take hold of it.

Here is a man who had all material wealth in the world but ignored Lazarus, a poor man covered with sores who contented himself with “what fell from the rich man’s table.”

After the two men died, Lazarus was “carried” by the angels “to Abraham’s side”, while the rich man ended up in hell.

From this very moment, with no way to go back to where he was, Abraham clearly indicated to the rich man who wanted to argue with the Father of faith: “Between us and you, a great chasm has been fixed, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot.”

We invite you to read more about the story of The Rich Man and Lazarus.

God bless you.

Shalom.
